Susila Davis

Education (2014 cohort)

I am studying teachers' engagement with school improvement processes and practice and an online system called Pathways, built by the Oxford University Press (http://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-school).

I hope for my unique contribution to knowledge to fill the (currently rather sparse) area of teachers' use of online technology for school improvement purposes, including the benefits and challenges of engaging with educational research, collaborative learning and continuous professional development.

My other research interests include youth programmes and alternative education provision, which formed the bases of my Master's research project.

Before coming to Oxford, I studied Aerospace Engineering at undergraduate level and was a research and data analyst for several years at the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.
