We are looking forward to welcoming the GUDTP community to our flagship annual event, the GUDTP Annual Conference.
Keynote Speakers
Prof Julia Black
President of the British Academy | Warden of Nuffield College, University of Oxford
Prof Lucie Cluver
Professor of Child and Family Social Work, Social Policy and Intervention, University of Oxford
A celebration of the excellent and innovative research conducted by our scholars, this two-day conference offers a kaleidoscopic view of their diverse methodological approaches and the wide range of their research interests. Unlike most academic conferences, which bring together experts in one field, or public engagement opportunities that require translating research for a public audience, our annual conference is a unique opportunity for scolars to address an interdisciplinary but highly skilled and engaged audience, benefit from the fresh perspective of others, get inspired by their work, and find out how much they have in common (or not). It is an opportunity to connect with peers across institutions, departments, and research pathways; forge new collaborations and even friendships.
With many thanks to those who have submitted an abstract, we are looking forward to meeting you there.
If you are on fieldwork, in an overseas institutional visit, or on placement at the time of the conference, please consider participating by posting about your experience in our LinkedIn group.
