Digital Social Sciences (2021 cohort)

I am a DPhil Candidate in Social Data Science, jointly supervised by Prof. Mark Graham (Oxford Internet Institute) and Prof. Xiaowen Dong (Department of Engineering Science). My research concerns open-source practices and collaboration in machine learning developer communities.

Previously, I worked in AI policy at the UK Government’s Centre for Data Ethics & Innovation and served as a UK Delegate at the Global Partnership on AI and the Council of Europe’s Ad Hoc Committee on AI. I hold a Distinction in MSc in Social Science of the Internet from the University of Oxford and First Class in MA (Honours) History from the University of Edinburgh.
