Project Title: Dropout in a parent-led CBT based intervention for children with anxiety problems.
The overall aim of my research project is to develop of a set of recommended adaptations to an online parent-led intervention for children with anxiety problems, called Online Support and Intervention (OSI), to reduce dropout by encouraging families to stay in treatment.
Alongside my DPhil, I work on the OSI-GROWS project in the TOPIC group. OSI-GROWS is a service evaluation project that aims to evaluate the outcomes and usage of Online Support and Intervention for Child Anxiety problems (OSI) in routine clinical practice. I plan to build on this in my DPhil research by looking more closely at dropout from OSI treatment.
I have a strong interest in all aspects of healthcare and related research which stems from working in the NHS, and I’m particularly interested in how we can use health research to benefit children and young people. Previously I completed my MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Surrey, and my BSc in Psychology at the University of Chichester.
