Experimental Psychology (2018)
My DPhil research investigates the development of executive functions in preschool children. More specifically, I aim to design and test an intervention to improve the home learning environment by providing parents with actionable information on activities they can do with their children to promote these skills and others. I will test this intervention using a randomised controlled trial.
Alongside my DPhil, I continue to work for the Behavioural Insights Team; a social purpose company, part owned by HMG Cabinet Office where I lead a portfolio of work on Early Years policy. I hold an MSc in Behavioural Science from the University of Stirling, Scotland and a BBS in Economics and French from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
