Economics (2022 cohort)

I am interested in applied microeconomics, particularly in empirical IO and microeconomic theory.

I am planning to work on monopoly and monopsony power in the retail industry as well as distributional and welfare effects of price caps and retail taxes. I am always interested to chat about competition economics or micro theory!

Eszter has graduated from the University of Oxford with an MPhil in Economics in 2019. She is starting her DPhil in Economics in October 2022 and was working in private sector consulting and the public sector between 2019-2022.

Prior to that, she has finished her BA in Economics and Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
