This training session is delivered by Dr Ramesh.

This two-day course will draw on Dr Ramesh's own research findings, which explore how human behaviour, shaped by genetics, parenting, environment, and public policy, interacts with a nation’s ability to sustain long-term economic development. This perspective will allow us to examine key questions such as: “Why does a country’s economy stagnate after empire?” and “How and why do empires emerge?” Central to these questions is the effective mobilisation of resources to support sustained innovation and technological progress.

On the structure of the sessions, each day will include a blend of lectures and interactive components, such as guided discussions, group case analyses, and short applied exercises to ensure the sessions remain dynamic and engaging for students.
