Sociology (2024 cohort)

My research examines gender gaps in political and social attitudes amongst young people. It aims to explore how micro-level processes of political socialization and macro-level structural pressures contribute to variation in political attitudes across generations, and the implications of this for contemporary gender relations. Other research interests include the socioeconomic dimensions of gender inequality and their relationship with gender-based violence.

I am a DPhil student in Sociology at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Prior to the DPhil, I completed my BA (Hons) in Politics and Sociology at the University of Cambridge (2020-23) and my MSc in Sociology at Oxford (2023-24), winning the A. H. Halsey Prize for Best Performance.
