Su is a second-year MPhil in International Relations student at Somerville College, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on China’s climate foreign policy, which is the nexus of global climate politics and China’s foreign policy. Su holds a BSc in International Relations and an MSc in Environmental Geography from LSE. Su has interned with the UNFCCC Adaptation Division and worked with several think tanks, including the International Institute of Green Finance, the Center of China and Globalization, and the Canadian Center for the Responsibility to Protect.
Her MPhil thesis examines the strategic social construction of China’s climate leadership image in global climate governance through the interaction of Chinese and international discourses. Outside of academics, Su is a PADI-certified Freediver and hopes to explore more of the underwater world while committing to marine conservation.
