Economics (2019 cohort)

Tzvetan is studying towards an MPhil in Economics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. His research interests include game theory, labour economics, microeconometrics, machine learning and philosophy of economics. Prior to Oxford, Tzvetan studied PPE at University College London with a focus on economics, data science and philosophy. His final dissertation estimated regional intergenerational mobility in the UK and explored its connection to the Brexit vote. Upon his graduation, he was awarded a place on the Faculty Dean’s List as well as a nomination for the Faculty Medal awarded to the best performing student in the 2019 undergraduate cohort in the Faculty. Alongside his studies, he has worked at a Research Assistant in UCL Institute of Education and UCL Department of Political Science as well as various think tanks in the UK and Bulgaria.
