My research aims to explore the patterns of ethnic school segregation in the UK. Primarily using the National Pupil Database, my research will model the school, neighbourhood and city level factors that are most important in building schools that reflect the increasing ethnic diversity of local families.

Before starting at Oxford, I taught English and Maths, both in the UK and abroad, as well as completing research for The Northern Irish Civil Service and Civitas, a UK think tank, on patterns of UK school segregation. I hold a 1st Class Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics BA from Queens University, Belfast and a Masters of Education from The Harvard Graduate School of Education.
