Myrto Oikonomou

Economics (2014 cohort)

I am a macroeconomist with a particular interest in labour markets and uncertainty. My research focuses on DSGE models, frictional labour markets, search theory, and stochastic volatility shocks. In my current paper, I am investigating different dimensions of the interactions between labour market structural reforms and aggregate uncertainty under both a closed economy and an open economy setting.

I hold the MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc. (Hons) degree (with distinction) in Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
