Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience (cohort 2017)
For my DPhil I will be using neuroimaging to investigate how the brain allows us to perceive visual images. More specifically, my research will focus on how our knowledge and goals shape our perceptual experience. Over the course of my DPhil I will be running experiments and test human participants using MRI or M/EEG scanners
I completed my undergraduate in Psychobiology and my Master's programme in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. My previous education was aimed at a career in academia and I completed one-year research projects in labs at Oxford University (United Kingdom), Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (the Netherlands), and Princeton University (United States of America).
