Health and Social care (2017 cohort)

I am studying for a Masters and PhD and my research interests are around the social aspects of care for type 2 diabetics, specifically how family members can be best supported in their caring role. This includes the types of support that are considered helpful and who might be best to deliver these.

I currently work as a general practitioner with an interest in diabetes, specifically type 2 diabetes, which is largely managed in the community rather than secondary care. I am also a GP trainer and have held several educational posts within Oxford deanery and the  East of England.
